The Visible Rights initiative began with a collaborative project conducted by BAFTA, TMI and Film London. Overall, the project aimed to create conditions for the rise of both the volume and fluidity of content for reuse. The project had three long range objectives:
- Objective 1: Increase the proportion of rights-ready content available for discovery, access and reuse.
- Objective 2: Create conditions for licensing and access, innovate friction-free toolsets for rights holder use.
- Objective 3: Provide market intelligence and learning tools, enabling volume of content to grow
Today, TMI is planning for the continuation of Visible Rights as an ongoing initiative.
